Rachael and Corey to ‘Go Between’ sport and culture

Queensland Ballet principal dancer Rachael Walsh and senior Broncos’ player Corey Parker are the faces of a new advertising campaign for one of Brisbane’s most high profile road projects - Go Between Bridge.

The inclusion of Rachael Walsh and Corey Parker in the campaign, aims to show how the bridge will provide a closer connection between the city’s sport and cultural precincts - Milton and South Brisbane.

Go Between Bridge (formerly known as Hale Street Link) is set to open in mid 2010 and will provide a new cross river connection and increase accessibility to and from popular venues including QPAC, South Bank, Gallery of Modern Art, Suncorp Stadium, and the Caxton Street and Park Road entertainment strips.

When open, the 300m, four-lane tolled bridge can be accessed at ICB/Hale Street in Milton and from a right turn on Coronation Drive and will connect to Montague Road, Merivale and Cordelia streets in South Brisbane.

Also featuring dedicated pedestrian and cyclist paths, Go Between Bridge will provide other routes of access for match-goers to and from Broncos games, and Queensland Ballet enthusiasts alike.

Rachael and Corey can be seen on the inside cover of this month’s Map Magazine and on bus sides, bus shelters, billboards and telephone booths in March and April.
