In May 2007 Brisbane City Council announced the Hale Street Link Alliance would design and construct the Go Between Bridge.
Construction started in June 2008 and is now complete, with the bridge now open to traffic.
The Hale Street Link Alliance includes Brisbane City Council, Bouygues, Hyder, Macmahon and Seymour Whyte.
